Matt Groneman, Associate Professor of English at Vincennes University will talk about the French symbolist poets (Charles Baudelaire, Arthur Rimbaud, Stephan Mallarme, Paul Verlaine), with a special emphasis on Baudelaire. He will also comment on the modernists and vorticism, with an emphasis on Ezra Pound. Finally, the last part will talk about contemporary ekphrastic poets, including Darrell Bourque and Lisel Mueller.
