Celebrate the rich architecture of Knox County on Tuesday, May 15 at 6:30 p.m. at the Fortnightly. John Bower, photographer from Bloomington, will give a PowerPoint presentation of his book "2nd Stories." As the title implies, the book encourages us to look up and, in Vincennes, there is plenty of intriguing architecture to explore - just look at the former Second National Bank’s variety of windows. This program is presented in cooperation with the Vincennes/Knox Preservation Foundation. Materials will be on display about Historic Preservation. We will also feature the list of buildings on the National Register in Vincennes, which includes the beautiful Fortnightly. |
